About Lisa

Lisa is based south of Adelaide but has raced all over Australia, predominantly in South Australia & Victoria. 
Lisa started racing Dirt Karts from the age of 9 after following in her fathers footsteps.
After travelling nation wide and winning many State and Australian Titles Lisa was fortunate enough to be approached to race a formula 500.
The following season the team decided to purchase their own car, to become more competitive and travel as much as possible in the Formula 500 Division.
Since jumping up to the Formula 500 Division Lisa  learnt valuable driving skills and had some great success including overall SA highest point scorer 2014/15 season and 2016 Victorian Winter Nationals champion. 

In 2016 Lisa was extremely fortunate to be able to race a 410ci Sprintcar for Rowett Motorsport. The absolute pinnacle of speedway racing in Australia and a long time dream of Lisa’s. 
In her rookie seasons she has shown great determination and has gained a real grasp of 900 horse power beast rather quickly. Including Rookie of the year, 4th in the SA 410 Title, 2nd in the SA 360 title and privileged enough to follow a lot of the World Series Sprintcar rounds though SA, VIC and WA and competing agaisnt the best in the country.  Lisa has also traveled to Western Australia to compete for an interstate Sprintcar team and been a apart of the V8 Ute Trackskill Team show casing her varied driving diversity. 

In 2018/19 Lisa took on the challenge on to run and fiance the team herself, a challenging but rewarding task.
Apart from just racing the car, Lisa has attained of a Certificate 4 in Marketing, Media and Advertising at TAFE. This has been particularly useful in expanding opportunities not only in the racing seat, but also in relation to communication opportunities with other drivers, officials, sponsors and fans of the sport. 

Additionally in 2013 she was selected for the Speedway Australia Rising Star Programme which involved travelling to the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra (AIS). While participating in an event at the AIS, she gained valuable insight into her potential for further development in the sport – not only in terms of physical and technical ability, but in relation to utilizing marketing and media.
